Rosebel “Rosebud” Dorey Naranjo, 78, of Pierce, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

She was born on January 5, 1948, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Selso and Terecita E. (Sandoval) Naranjo. She graduated high school and eventually had two beautiful children, Joel and Casandra Ramirez. Rosebel loved working with children, and her passion for helping kids of all ages led to her receiving an associate’s degree in early childhood education. After working hard to receive her degree, she began her career at ABC Child Development Centers.

Rosebel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter who cherished every moment she spent with her family. Her absence is already deeply felt, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Selso and Terecita Naranjo; her brothers, Charlie Naranjo and Bob Naranjo; her sisters, Margret Padilla and Senida Garcia; and a brother-in-law, Alejandro Garcia.

Rosebel is survived by her son, Joel Ramirez; her daughter, Casandra Ramirez; her beloved grandchildren, Austin Ramirez, Janathian Patton, Jacob Patton, Savannah Garcia, and Marissa Timmons; brothers, Herman Naranjo, Leo Naranjo, and Nick Naranjo; sisters, Lillian Rodriguez, Gomecinda Garcia, and Diana Ochoa; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 267 E 4th Street, Ault, CO 80610. Inurnment will follow at Ault Cemetery.
