Rosita Minney, 58, of Johnstown, Colorado, left this beautiful world on June 26, 2014 at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. Rosita was born in Zavana County, Texas on November 7, 1955 to Marcello and Tiburcia (Rodriguez) Gomez. Mrs. Minney loved the company of her grandchildren, playing and volunteering at bingo, and thoroughly enjoyed working in her yard. Survivors include; three sons, Santiago Gomez (Cadence Stewart), Michael Lee Gomez, and Johnny Ray Valdez (Deanna Wright); two daughters, Yolanda (Ruben) Villarreal and Roseann Valdez (Chris Taulman); five brothers, Lupe, Albert, Marcello, Tony, and Jessie Gomez; five sisters, Severina Gallegos, Rosily Garcia, Debbie Argot, Cyndi Sosa, and Linda; and her ten grand-babies, ages 1 ½ to 18 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents. A viewing for Rosita will be held 4-7 p.m. this Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
