Roxanne Dixon, 65, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on April 6, 2026.
Born on November 22, 1960, in Greeley, Colorado, Roxanne was the daughter of Ruth Elaine Sivers Dixon and Raymond Dean Dixon. She had a deep love for gardening and enjoyed crafts such as needlepoint and cross-stitch. Roxanne also cherished her many pets over the years, especially her beloved dogs and cats.
Roxanne was devoted to her family. She spent many years caring for her mother, Ruth, and following her mother's passing, she lovingly cared for her brother, Rory. Her compassion and dedication to those she loved were a defining part of her life.
She graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1978. Roxanne went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1982 and later received her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the same institution in May 1990.
Roxanne's career in education reflected her passion for teaching and helping others learn. She taught first grade on the Jicarilla Apache Indian reservation in Dulce, New Mexico, and then served as a middle school math teacher in Platteville, Colorado. She continued teaching as a fifth-grade teacher in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and later taught math at Aims Community College.
In addition to her work in education, Roxanne was dedicated to her professional endeavors in retail and business. Following the passing of her father, Roxanne took over and managed Ray Dixon's Allstate Insurance Agency, continuing his legacy with care and commitment.
Roxanne had a love for travel and enjoyed exploring new places whenever she could. She took pride in her home and loved gardening and growing flowers and vegetables.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond "Ray" Dixon; her mother, Ruth Dixon; and her brother, Rory Dixon.
Roxanne is survived by her brother, Randy Dixon; her sister-in-law, Tehra Dixon; and her nephews, Roark and Cyrus Dixon.
She will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to family, and the many lives she touched as a teacher, caregiver, and friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue, Evans, CO 80620. A private inurnment will be held at Eaton Cemetery in Eaton, Colorado.
