Roy "Booger" Blevins, 74, passed away on May 7th, 2025, at his home. Alongside his 2 cherished dogs, Bentley & LD.
Roy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 10th, 1950, to Roy Blevins, SR & Irene Holt.
Roy's passions were motorcycles, cars, especially old cars and hot rod cars, fishing and camping. Going to Sturgis, South Dakota was one of his favorite trips to make every year for the world famous motorcycle rally. Roy loved animals of all kinds and always had them in his life.
One highlight of his life was collecting hot wheel cars with his Grandson, Ashton. His love for his Grandchildren was unwavering. He was making plans with them to attend car shows, fishing trips, and road trips just a few day prior to him being called home. His sense of humor was entertaining, and there was never a dull moment when visiting him. Roy moved from Hawaii to Florida then to Oklahoma before moving to California, where he spent a lot of time with his brothers and sisters, Tim Holt, Andy Braga, Mike Holt, Rosemary Dominguez, Debbie Hernandez, Lani Noriega & Barbara Martinez, whom he loved very much. When Roy moved to California he worked with his brother, Andy, at Western Salvage. When he moved from California to Colorado he worked for Farmer's Iron and Metal for years as well as a concrete worker.
Roy married the love of his life, Judy Mae Minney, on March 5th, 1977. In Lynwood, California. To whom he remained married to until the time of her death on September 14th, 2007.
Roy is survived by his children, twins, Roy Blevins (Alayna Blevins) & Roxanne Polland (Andy Polland) Shawnalou Huggans (Dean Huggans) brothers, Tim Holt, Mike Holt. sisters, Rosemary Dominguez, Debbie Hernandez & Lani Noriega. Grandchildren, AJ Polland (Jessica Polland) Abbie Polland, Tawnie Mae Polland, Austen Blevins, Madysen Ceasar (Kyle Ceasar) Kylee Blevins, Ashton Blevins, Sophia Blevins, Denise Blevins, Kimberly Dodwell, Paulina Nollett, Dillon Nollett, Dominic Nollett, Great Grandchildren, Brooklyn Polland, Taytain Nollett, Katelyn Nollett' Woods, Addelyn Nollett' Woods, Neveah Dodwell, Micheal Dodwell, Hunter Dodwell, Genaro Nollett' Sosa, Mae Nollett' Sosa, Ziorra Nollett' Sosa. As well as many, many close friends and family.
Roy's last wish was to go "home" to Hawaii. Some call Hawaii Paradise, and now Roy has gone home to Paradise with our Lord and Savior. John 5:24 states, "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Judy Blevins, his father, Roy Blevins Sr, his mother Irene Holt, a brother, Andy Braga a sister, Barbara Martinez.
There will be a celebration of life on June 7th @ 12:00 P.M 2651 East 18th Street, Greeley, CO. We ask anyone who would like to attend to wear a Hawaiian shirt (if you want to) and ride your motorcycles if you have one (if you want to)
