Born: March 21, 1930 to Eva Watson.
Died: March 10, 2025 just eleven days shy of his 95th birthday.
Roy was a Native Marinite, who was born in Cottage Hospital in San Rafael and raised in San Rafael. As a child he spent summers at the home of his grandparents (Watson) in Superior, Arizona.
Roy attended San Rafael High School. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.
Roy married Nancy Olson (Finn) and they made their home and raised their six children in San Anselmo.

Roy travelled to Payson, Arizona to meet his new found cousins. Both Roy and Nancy fell in love with the area and later decided to move there. After living in Arizona for over a decade they moved to Alto, New Mexico due to health reasons to be with family.
