Ruby Slaughter, 87 of Greeley, died on December 24, 2010 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit.
She was born on September 27, 1923 in Jourdanton, Texas to Eulogio and Theresa (Garcia) Slaughter. She lived in the Eaton/Ault areas from 1964 until moving to Greeley in 1969.
Ruby worked for Weld County Department of Social Services and later the Weld County Health Department as a home health aide. She later worked for Lady Saver Laundromat in Greeley.
Survivors include 1 son, 3 daughters, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Private family services will be held.
