Ruth Ann Buttram, 68, of Evans died Monday, September 20 at NCMC. She was born June 18, 1942, in Havre, MT. Survivors: Son David Bush and girlfriend Kristi Freddo of Washington, D.C., daughter Traci Bush and boyfriend Lindsay Morrison of Evans,and daughter Melonie Janssen and husband David of Ault; granddaughters Amanda Bush, Katey Bush, Kaydee Bush and Alexis Janssen;grandsons Kennon Wynn and Dakota Bush and great-granddaughter Skylar Bush; stepchildren Robert Buttram, Bryan Buttram, Stacey Buttram,Roy Miller, and Cindy Krautschun as well as numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Linda Taylor,Sandra Olson, and Sharon Gatewood; brother Russell Hurd and special friend Don Bronski. Note: A private memorial service has already been held. Tribute: She was raised in Miles City, MT and Big Sandy, MT and graduated high school in Big Sandy in 1960. She attended PLC in Parkland, WA and Northern Montana College in Havre, MT. She taught in Canada, was employed in North Dakota researching mineral rights, owned Bush-Hurd Real Estate in Thompson Falls, MT, worked as a technical specialist at Hewlett Packard in Greeley and Fort Collins, CO and most recently a medical transcriptionist in Evans, CO.She married Buster Buttram on June 7, 1981. After losing the love of her life in December 2004 she was blessed to find new love with her special friend Don Bronski the last few years.She had many talents; including music, ceramics, pottery, making jewelry, painting, knitting, making and dressing porcelein dolls, and numerous other artistic endeavors.She had a kind heart and opened her home to any who needed a place to stay, whether for a few hours or days. Preceded in death by: Her parents Verlin and Edith Hurd; and her husbands Richard Bush and Buster Buttram.
