Ruth Eloise Dorsey, 73, of Greeley passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of North Colorado.

She was born April 19, 1943 to Carl & Mabel (Cain) Dorsey in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Eaton High School and then attended Colorado State University. She worked at many jobs including Harsh Hydraulics, Sterling Bank and Civil Service at the Air Force Finance Center from which she retired in 1995. She grew up in the Methodist Church in Eaton and later became a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Aurora earning her EFM Certification. Family was extremely important to her.

Ruth is survived by her sisters, Donna Cullip of Bakersfield, CA, Debra Kanten (Steve) of Eaton, CO, and Charlene Fincher (Harold) of Akron, CO, her nieces & nephews, Corey Cullip (Katherine) of Bakersfield, CA, Carl Fincher (Sarah) of Akron, CO, Leevi Kanten (Susan) of Cheyenne, WY, Owen Sortino (Sherry) of Bakersfield, CA, Brandon Fincher (Amber) of Akron, CO, and Melinda Robison (Troy) of Eaton, CO.

She was preceded by her parents, Carl & Mabel Dorsey.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Eaton Cemetery.
