Saelia "Sally" Barrera, 54, of Greeley, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins.

She was born November 7, 1969, in Stanton, Texas to Antonio Martinez and Dolores Trejo. She moved to Greeley in 2000. Sally was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandkids. She loved dancing and listening to music.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Barrera of Greeley, her daughters, Ashley (Ruben)Jimenez of Greeley, Valerie Barrera of Greeley, and Jallissa (Cesar Lujan) Barrera also of Greeley, her brothers, Jimmy and Ricky Martinez of Greeley and Richard Martinez of Stanton, Texas, her sisters, Rose Martinez of Big Spring, Texas, Aurora Rios of El Paso, Texas, Anita Martinez of Greeley and Erlina Casas of Evans, Colorado, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, Antonio and Dolores Martinez, her brothers, Junio, Ramero and David Martinez, her sisters, Nancy and Sylvia Martinez.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, from 9-11:00 a.m. with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado. A Liturgy of the Word will follow at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral chapel.
