Scott Lee “Scottie” Schreiber, 56 of Eaton, Colorado passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the North Colorado Medical Center.

He was born to Jack and JoAnn (Dumler) Schreiber on September 21, 1962 in Greeley, Colorado.

He graduated from Greeley West High School in 1980.

Scott married Lori Kindsfater in 1983 in Greeley. To this union was born 3 children. He later married Lisa Marie Burkes in Eaton on September 10, 2005. They moved to Vian, Oklahoma where they lived until just recently returning to Eaton.

Mr. Schreiber worked for Best Way Paving Company, Weld County Road & Bridge as a supervisor and his call name there was “Bravo 1” and Enviro Tech. He was also Co-owner of S&K Services and most recently, owned and operated Schreiber Family Lawn Services.

He was a past member of Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Ft. Collins, Colorado. He enjoyed coaching youth football and was past member of the Eaton Country Club and a faithful Eaton Reds supporter.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa M. Burkes Schreiber of Eaton; his mother and step father, JoAnn & Carl Hill of Greeley; his father and step mother, Jack & Linda Schreiber of Greeley; his father and mother in law, Joel and Mary Burkes of Eaton; his daughter, Jordyn Schreiber of Boulder, Colorado 4 sons, Dallas Schreiber of Greeley, Nicholas Schreiber of Greenwood Village, Colorado, Jordan Landen of Olathe, Kansas and Jason Landen of Laramie, Wyoming; 2 brothers and their wives, Brad and Linda Schreiber and Mark and Shari Schreiber all of Greeley; 3 step brothers, Brad Hill, Brian Hill and Brett Hill & wife Julie all of Greeley; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 great nieces and 2 great nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Pauline Schreiber and Gus and Ruth Dumler.

A memorial service to celebrate Scott’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Evangelical Free Church, 1325 3rd Street in Eaton. Private family graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Private family visitation will be held.
