Seferino Anciso, 80, of Greeley, died on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Centennial Health Care Center. He was born on August 10, 1926 in Mercedes, Texas to Eduardo and Rosa (Martinez) Anciso. Seferino married Julia Saldivar and she preceded him in death in 1952. Mr. Anciso was a devoted and loving father took great pride that he was able to raise all four of his children alone as a single parent. He moved to Greeley from Colorado Springs to be near his daughter in 2005. Survivors include a daughter, Julia Garza of Greeley; a son, Guadalupe Anciso of Lubbock, Texas; a sister, Conception Garcia of Bay City, Texas; 2 brothers, David Anciso of Idalou, Texas and Eduardo Anciso of Mercedes, Texas; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Julia, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Benita Mota; a son, Margarito Anciso; 3 brothers, Juan, Manuel and Chico Anciso and a step brother, Miguel Anciso. A funeral service to celebrate Seferino's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. today at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Interment Evans Cemetery.
