Senaida “Sadie” Garcia, 71, of Greeley passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

She was born June 6, 1945 to Selso & Teracita (Sandoval) Naranjo in Trujillo, New Mexico. On May 15, 1971, she married Baldamar J. Garcia in Pierce, Colorado. Sadie worked for a dry cleaning company folding sheets, towels and napkins and for Furr’s Cafeteria for a few years before she went to work for Waterpix as a machine operator in the molding department. She was employed by Teledyne Waterpik for 27 years. She enjoyed knitting afghans and embroidering. She liked collecting swans and had a collection of old fashion high heels. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ault.

Sadie is survived by her sons; Nick Naranjo, Johnny, Ricky, & Patrick Garcia, all of Pierce, a daughter, Wanda Keenan of San Antonio, Texas, brothers, Leo Naranjo of Pierce, Bobby Naranjo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Herman Naranjo of Greeley, and Charlie Naranjo of Golden, sisters, Margaret Padilla of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lilian Rodriquez of Pierce, Diana Ochoa of Ault, Gomecinda Garcia of Pierce and Rosabel Naranjo of Pierce, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Baldamar J. Garcia and a brother, William Naranjo.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 followed by Recitation of Rosary at 11:00 a.m. on Monday all at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Ault Cemetery.
