Senobio "Sam" Derrera, 83, of Greeley, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Westlake Health & Rehabilitation in Greeley.
He was born on October 17, 1941, in Denver, Colorado to Alfonso and Versabel (Lujan) Derrera. On December 4, 1981, he married Katherine Fay Louise Oder in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Sam owned and operated Sam's Concete.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Mahaffey and Julie Moeller, a brother, John Derrera, two sisters, Delia Zamora and Liz Hernandez, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his brothers, Leroy Donald and Al "Sonny" Jr. Derrera, his sisters, Virginia Cooper, Dora Edwards, and Joyce Ditka, and a daughter, Laura Nunn.
A celebration of Sam's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Cave Creek Clubhouse, 3400 Sagebrush, Blvd, Evans, Colorado, 80620.
