Servando Salvador Villanueva (Amado Bonilla), 82 of Greeley passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado.
He was born September 20, 1935 to Francisco & Maria (de la Luz Moreno Mira Montes) Bonilla Argomales in Mexico. He resided in Brush and Rocky Ford, Colorado before moving to Greeley in 1982. On October 16, 1975, he married Susie Mary Jaramillo in Raton, New Mexico. Servando was employed by AJR Farms and worked as a dairy farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Villanueva of Greeley, his son; Frank A. Villanueva, Richard M. Sanchez, and Roy A. Mondragon, his daughter, Mae M. Melendez, Erica Hernandez, Mona Villanueva, his brothers, Jesus and Alberto Bonilla, a sister, Paula Bonilla Moreno, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, Anastasia, Esther, and Alta Gracia Bonilla, and Maria Bonilla Moreno, and a brother, Jose Bonilla.
A celebration of Servando’s life will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
