Sharon Kay Surrarrer, 65 of Greeley passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
Sharon graduated from Fireland H.S. in Oberlin, Ohio in 1966. She graduated from CU in 1979 with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Microbiology. She worked as a substitute teacher in Gilpin County High School and served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include her children, Chris Straub, Scott Thurston, Erin Thurston and Julie Caldwell; 7 grandchildren and 3 sisters, Gail Johns, Linda Anderson and Marcia Abercrombie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Maud Surrarrer.
Private family services were held.
