Sharon Larue Walter, 67, of Windsor, Colorado died on Friday, January 13, 2006 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit in Greeley, Colorado. She was born on March 18, 1938 in Portland, Oregon to Carl and Verna Williams. Sharon graduated from the Portland Adventist Academy. She later married Von Walter on August 18, 1957 in Portland, Oregon. The couple moved to Windsor, Colorado from Portland in June of 2004. She was a homemaker and the worked as a secretary with her husband's construction company, Cornel Construction Company in Portland. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and she enjoyed music and playing piano and organ and also tole painting. Survivors include her husband Von Walter of Windsor; 2 sons, Gary Walter of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Roger Walter of Windsor, Colorado; 6 grandchidlren and 4 sisters, Carol Harding of B.C. Canada, Beverly Brasset of Sonoma, California, Shirley Hauser of Ridgecrest, California and Janet Topham of Phoenix, Arizona. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 22222 S.W. Graham Ferry Road in Tualatin, Oregon.
