Sharon Elaine Vair, 73, of Eaton, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Medical Center of the Rockies.
She was born on April 24, 1943 to George & Lois Alta (Hann) McCargo in Fort Morgan. She graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs in 1961 and went on to attend Colorado State University. On July 1, 1962 she married Clyde A. Vair in Colorado Springs. They moved to Eaton in 1971. She later attended Front Range Community College where she obtained her Horticulture Certificate in 1990. Sharon was self-employed as a dairy farmer and natural colored sheep farmer. She was a member of the American Jersey Cattle Club and the Natural Colorado Sheep Association. She enjoyed quilting, having made many beautiful quilts and loved spending time in the mountains.
Survivors include a son, Michael Vair of Sterling, a daughter, Dianne Vair-Grilley of Pierce, a sister, Marlene Johnson of Lafayette, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. Vair and her parents, George & Lois McCargo.
A celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
