Sherra Joan (Foard) Tanner, 44 of Greeley died Sunday, October 27th, 2013 at Hospice of Northern Colorado.
Sherra was born April 3, 1969 in Oklahoma City, OK to Reda and Ed Foard. Sherra graduated from University High School in 1987 and attended CSU and graduated from UNC with a degree in education. Sherra was a loyal employee of JC Penney's and her manager position relocated her to both Kansas and Pueblo, CO.
Sherra married Chris Tanner on July 9, 1994 in Estes Park, CO, and together they had sons Ryan (14) and Alex (11); the family returned to Greeley in 2004.
Sherra had a successful career as a Creative Memories consultant as well as a realtor for RE/MAX Alliance. In both of these positions, Sherra fulfilled her passion to help others create and preserve their own memories.
Sherra was a classy, loving woman who was a friend to all. She loved to laugh and brightened a room with her warmth and glowing smile.
Sherra perfected the art of quoting movies and sharing fashion and as she always said "leopard print goes with nothing and therefore, goes with everything".
Sherra is survived by her dedicated husband Chris, and two gracious, loving sons, Ryan and Alex; her mother Reda Foard of Broomfield; her brother Craig Foard of Greeley; Father and Mother In-law Tom and Linnea Tanner of Windsor; Sister and Brother In-law Sonja(Tanner) and Matt Brucklacher and nieces Maylin and Alissa of Greeley. She is further survived by extended family and extensive friends. Sherra was preceded in death by her father, Ed Foard.
