Stanley "Stan" D. Flippin, 81, of LaSalle, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

He was born April 23, 1941, in Greenridge, Missouri to Coledus "Ben" & Arlene G. (Gansen) Flippin. He was a graduate of Alameda High School and attended Colorado University. After enlisting in the Army, he was stationed in Japan and Ft. Devens, MA, learning computers, and later becoming a systems analysist. He worked for Central Bank, Greeley National Bank, Weld & Boulder County Assessor's Office and the Greeley Medical Clinic.

On April 29, 1978, he married Nancy Good in Lakewood, Colorado and to this union two sons, Steven and Justin were born. He and Nancy have lived in LaSalle since 1978. He loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed working with and flying model airplanes where he won many awards across the country.

Stan is survived by his wife, Nancy, his sons and their wives, Steven (Jamie) and Justin (Genna) Flippin, his sisters, Carol Gallagher, Vickie Felty, and Linda Martin, and his grandchildren, Keegan Flippin and Madyson Lapri.

He is preceded by his parents, Ben and Arlene Flippin, and a sister, Bonnie Silverheels.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
