Obituary

Steven McCoy, born on April 21st, 1944, in Riverton, Wyoming, was the second of four siblings. He dedicated his life to service, first by joining the National Guard and later by committing himself to his family and faith.

On December 27, 1995, Steven married Marilyn Nelson in Greeley, Colorado, and they shared 28 beautiful years together. He was a wonderful and caring husband, known for his devotion to his family. Steven leaves behind a legacy of love, with 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Steven's journey with faith began at a young age when he accepted the Lord into his life. Through the years, he found solace and community in various churches until discovering Westside Baptist and Pastor Dan Unruh. In 2002, Steven officially joined Westside Baptist with his wife Marilyn, where he served as trustee and dedicated himself to serving the Lord faithfully.

Throughout his life, Steven found fulfillment in his work. With a passion for maintenance, he approached every task with excellence, earning a reputation as the best at what he did. For Steven, work wasn't just a job; it was his hobby, and he poured his heart into every project.

Steven was preceded in death by his beloved grandpa Ralph, his father Steven, mother Norma, sister Judy, brother Mike, and nephew.

He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, children Cameron (Suzie), Lea (Lyndon), and Chelsey (Casey), stepchildren Angie and Mike (Tonua), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Rod (Lori), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steven McCoy will be remembered for his unwavering faith, dedication to his family, and exemplary work ethic. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
