Steven Kip Mellin's Obituary
Steven Kip Mellin, 63, of Greeley, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the North Colorado Medical Center.
He was born August 20, 1953 to Donald & Ruth (Brinkman) Mellin in Greeley, Colorado. He lived in Northern Colorado his entire life and was a graduate of University High School. He was a certified journeyman farrier and taught farrier science at Colorado State University from 1996-2008. He attended the Cowboy Church in Lucene.
He is survived by his sons, William “Billy” Thompson (Melissa) of Independence, Kansas and Jacub Potter of Seattle, Washington, his grandchildren, Courtnee Edwards, Cody Steven Thompson, Tesa Madrid, Mari Potter, and Andrew Thompson, great grandchildren, John Fogle, and Jackson Fogle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Ruth Mellin.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be 2:00 p.m on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at The Cowboy Church, 33131 US 85, in Lucerne.
