Susan Colleen Bou, 47 of Clifton, Colorado lost her battle with cancer on Friday, May 25, 2007 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born on July 3, 1959 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Paul and Janie C. (Barrow) Kovach. Susan was a Grand Junction native and graduated from Grand Junction High School. She married Kok Seang Bou on May 10, 1980 at Palisade First Baptist Church in Palisade, Colorado. Survivors include her husband, Kok Seang Bou of Clifton; her daughter and son in law, Heather and Jerad Schminke of Greeley; 2 sons, Paul and Michael Bou both of Clifton; 2 grandchildren, Bryson and Gage Schminke both of Greeley; a sister and her husband, Sandy and Gary Verdieck of New Castle, Colorado; 2 brothers, Steve Kovach of Basalt, Colorado and Ron Kovach and his wife Linda of Fruita, Colorado as well as 6 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Susan's life at an open house on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the Bou family home in Clifton, Colorado from 1-5pm.
