Terry J. Deines, 55 of rural Eaton, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at his home. He was born on March 24, 1953 in Greeley to Elmer and Dorothy (Honstein) Deines. Terry graduated from Eaton High School in 1971. He later married Teresa Boegel on March 4, 1977 in Greeley. Mr. Deines fed cattle and farmed in Eaton for his entire life. He was actively involved in the Agland Co-op and was a past board member for the Agland Credit Union. He was a member of the Colorado Sugar Beet Growers Association and a member & past board member of St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Deines of Eaton; 2 daughters and their husbands, Sheri & Rich Dalgliesh of Greeley and Michelle and Craig Wiedeman of Platteville; a son and fiancé, Ryan Deines and Jamie Windsheimer of Eaton; one grandson, Tyler Dalgliesh; his father, Elmer Deines of Eaton; his father and mother in law, Jack and Janice Boegel of Lakin, Kansas; his sister, Deb Deines of Greeley; his sister in law and her husband, Cheryl and Todd Schafer of Wray; 2 brothers in law and their wives, Warren and Diane Boegel of Lakin, Kansas and Doug Boegel and Sharon Hayes of Wellington, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Deines and his grandparents, John and Rose Honstein and Henry & Mary Katherine Deines. A funeral service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton (1311) 3rd Street in Eaton. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Interment will follow the funeral services in the Eaton Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made in lieu of flowers to the Terry Deines memorial fund to be used for a charity to be named later.
