Thom S. Strohecker, 53, of Kersey passed, after a short illness bravely born, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Thom was born December 14, 1958 to Chester C. and Virginia (Frazier) Strohecker in Alton, Illinois. He graduated from Arthur High School in Arthur, Illinois and then went on to attend Eastern Illinois University. After graduation, he worked for Eastern Illinois University in the IT Department. In 1998 he moved to Tuscola, Illinois. He married Erin Aileen O'Brien in Tuscola on November 3, 2000. In 2010, they moved to Kersey. Thom is survived by his wife, Erin O'Brien of Kersey, a son, Chester Strohecker III of Las Vegas, Nevada, his parents, Chester & Virginia Strohecker of Arthur, Illinois, and sisters, Dale, Nancy, Jane, and Kendal.
