Thomas David Stalnaker Sr., 63 of Pierce died on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his home. He was born on November 26, 1946 in Morgantown, West Virginia to William and Anna (Knight) Stalnaker. Mr. Stalnaker graduated from Ledgemont High School in 1965. He later married Rita Stayrook on June 22, 1968 in Erie, Pennsylvania. They have lived in Pierce since 1995. He was an over the road truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Rita Stalnaker of Pierce; 2 daughters, Naomi Stalnaker of Loveland and Shannon Arcoria of Hankinson, North Dakota; his son, Thomas Stalnaker Jr. of Galeton; 10 grandchildren and a brother, William Stalnaker of Geneva, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Stalnaker. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 525 Walnut Avenue in Windsor. Memorial gifts may be made in lieu of flowers to the Thomas Stalnaker Memorial Fund in care of Moser Funeral Service.
