Obituary

Thomas Earl "Tom" Farley, Warrant Officer 1, of Evans, passed away at the age of 36, at his home on March 5, 2011.
Tom was born April 26, 1974 to John Thomas and Bonita (Bell) Farley in Boulder, Colorado. On July 28, 2001, he married Sandy Kay Sherman in Longmont, Colorado. They have resided in Evans since 2005.
Mr. Farley enlisted in the United States Army on August 13, 1996. He served 3 years as a Radar Repairer on Active Duty and then joined the 3650th Maintenance Company, Colorado Army National Guard. On Feb 10, 2003, he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and served 15 months at Ft. Carson Colorado. He worked full time as an Electronic Measurement Equipment Mechanic at the Consolidated Support Maintenance Shop in Firestone, Colorado for the past 10 years. He was a member of Calvary Chapel in Greeley.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Kay Farley of Evans, a son; Collin Thomas Farley, 2 daughters; Cora May and Katherine Elizabeth Farley; his father and stepmother, John & Barbara Farley of Longmont; 2 stepbrothers and 1 stepsister. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonita Farley and a sister, Elizabeth Farley
A memorial service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Greeley Wesleyan Church, 3600 W. 22nd Street in Greeley. Military honors will be rendered by the Colorado Army National Guard at the church immediately following the memorial services.
