Tom Leffew, 66, of Nunn, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home.

Tom was born on July 22, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, to Nolan and Joanne (Hinkel) Leffew. He received his education at West Chicago Community High School and later attended two years of night school.

Tom resided in Cortez, Colorado from 2004-2018 where he worked as the area manager for Elam Construction from 2005-2015 and then for Crossfire, LLC from 2015 to 2022. During this time, he moved to Odessa, Texas from 2018 to 2022, made his home in Nunn, Colorado in 2022. Tom served as project manager for GLH Construction from 2022-2024.

Tom enjoyed riding his motorcycles, cooking and building models. He was a big Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Tom was an avid hunter and angler as well.

He is survived by his son, David Leffew of Nunn, CO; mother, Joanne Leffew of Apopka, FL; sisters, Diana and Linda of Apopka, FL and Kim of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Robert Leffew.

A Celebration Open House to honor Tom will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025, at GLH Construction, 780 East Garden Street, Windsor, CO 80550.
