Valerie J. Foster was born in Denver, Colorado to James E. and Clare S. Foster on August 14, 1952. She graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Palmer Chiropractic College. She practiced in the Denver area until 2009 when she was diagnosed with cancer.
Valerie enjoyed her many nieces and nephews and spent much of her free time on her artwork. She is survived by four brothers and one sister; Dave of Michigan, Dan of Eaton, Steve of Greeley, Ed of Alaska and Jan Mossberg of Greeley.
Valerie died November 23, 2011 at Collier Inpatient Hospice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. A private family gathering was held.
