Valerie Kaye Pendleton was born on March 25, 1961, in Denver, Colorado. On October 29, 2025, she passed peacefully at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, surrounded by love.
Valerie lived her life with a big heart and a joyful spirit. She loved Hallmark movies (especially the Christmas ones), shopping trips, and spending time with her family—the Wooster's, John ("Grandpa John"), Vivian ("Grandma Vivian"), and her "sister," Lynne. They shared countless memories together, from cozy nights in, to special family adventures. Valerie also loved collecting business cards from people.
One of Valerie's favorite places to visit was Branson, Missouri, where she enjoyed traveling with her family and watching live shows. She also had a deep love for music—especially the "oldies but goodies"—and could often be found smiling along to her favorite Elvis tunes.
Valerie was a gifted artist who shared her creativity through the Envision Art Program. Her artwork reflected her gentle spirit and bright imagination, and she took great pride in her pieces.
Those who knew Valerie will remember her kind heart, her sense of humor, and the way she made every day a little brighter. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Envision, 1050 37th Street in Evans, Colorado.
