Vernon Clifford Morgan Jr. of Greeley died March 6, 2023. He was 70.
Mr. Morgan was born March 25, 1952, in Greeley. He graduated from University High School and later earned a degree in economics from the University of Northern Colorado.
After graduating from UNC, Mr. Morgan worked for the family-owned business, Morgan Nursery. As an independent landscape architect, he opened his own business, Open Gate Design in Fort Collins.
Mr. Morgan was a member of the Broadview Church and a leader of Greeley Youth for Christ.
His immediate family included three sisters, Sherron (Morgan) Brunner, Patricia (Morgan) Erickson and Susan Morgan, and a brother, Robert Morgan.
His parents, V. Clifford Morgan Sr. and Bertha (Hart) Morgan preceded him in death. An immediate private family burial is planned.
