Virginia Verda Foos, 84, of Eaton, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home.
She was born January 19, 1933 to Charles & Rebecca (Winscott) Wetmore in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the foundation of our family; our rock. Our mother was a feisty little woman. She could be tough when the situation warranted it, but her love was unending and always apparent. We all have memories of her and one thread ran through them all, her love for her family; her caring for her friends; and her tenacity for standing up for what she believed was right.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Foos, her parents, siblings, a grandson, and a great granddaughter.
She is survived by her brother Raymond Prior; her four children: Lee Sydow, Sherry Rawlings, Sandra Anderson, and Donnie Foos; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. As all of you who knew Virginia know, she was very proud of her family and they were her favorite subject of conversation. She was a wonderful lady with a beautiful soul and she will be greatly missed by all.
Rather than having a memorial service, the family asks that each of you mourn the passing of this special lady in your own way as all of her family intends to do. We love you Momma.
