Wanda L. Patten's Obituary
Wanda L. Patten, 86, of Longmont, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Brookdale in Longmont.
She was born June 6, 1937, to Herbert M. and Rhea L. (Starr) Miller. She was a graduate of Platteville High School and shortly after graduation she married Ralph H. Patten on August 31, 1955. They celebrated 50 years together before Ralph passed away in 2006. Wanda worked as a first level manager for Hewlett Packard. She was employed there for over 30 years.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She made trips to visit cousins and in-laws when she was able, but time spent with grandkids and grand animals was her favorite.
She is survived by her son, Dana (Dee Dee) Patten, a daughter, Rhea (Mike) Hoops, a sister, Glenna (Steve) Medina, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Rick Patten.
A celebration of Wanda's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans. Inurnment will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville.
