Wayne Colbert's Obituary
Wayne E. Colbert, 87, of Greeley, passed away on November 26, 2022, at The Center at Centerplace.
He was born September 27, 1935, to Floyd and Francis (McCune) Colbert. He grew up in Greeley and graduated from College High in 1953. In 1954, he joined the United States Navy. After 21 years he retired as Chief Petty Officer and was honorably discharged in 1975. He had several jobs after retiring from the navy and retired again in 2006.
He enjoyed driving to the mountains, dining out, reading the latest Motor Trend and RV Magazines, tinkering in his garage, and talking with neighbors and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd, and Francis Colbert.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, a sister, 2 daughters, 1 stepdaughter, 1 stepson, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Wayne's name.
