William Spaedt, 86 of Greeley, formally of Eaton died July 30, 2009 at Bonell Good Samaritan. Bill was born on July 21, 1929 to Alex and Olga in Fort Collins, Colorado.
He married Ruby in 1979 in Greeley. Bill served in the military, and farmed in the Eaton area until 1972. Then worked for the Town of Eaton 19 ½ years retiring at age 70. Hobbies were woodworking and traveling.
Bill is survived by his wife, Ruby of Eaton; his sons, William Jr. of Evans; George of Pierce; Charles of White Water, CO; Jim of Evans; Steve of Dove Creek, CO; daughters; Mary of Nebraska; Paulette of Greeley; 26 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Sisters; Haddie of Indiana, Emma of Loveland, and Loretta of CO Springs.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Olga; granddaughter Dana, and a great grandson Blake.
Interment will be 9:30 am, Tuesday, August 4 at Eaton Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am at the Bonell Good Samaritan Chapel. Memorial Contributions can be made to Bonell in care of Moser Funeral Service, 3501 11th Ave, Evans, CO 80620.
