William "Bill", "Willy", "Butch" Flesner, 80, of Evans, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at The Bridge Assisted Living in Greeley.
He was born May 12, 1943, to John and Eula (Spath) Flesner in Flint, Michigan. On March 22, 1964, He married Evelyn Clinesmith in Nebraska. They later moved to Evans, Colorado in 1970.
Bill was a cabinet maker/carpenter and loved working with wood. He was employed at Genesis Innovations doing what he loved and teaching others his craft. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, especially when they were all together for special occasions. He loved sharing his passion of woodworking with his grandkids by making them several special items. He attended Gloria Christi Lutheran Church and served the community where he lived. He was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Flesner of Evans, his sons, Tom and Jeff Flesner of Greeley, his sisters, Nancy Klahn and Norma Webber both of Minden, Nebraska, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents, John and Eula Flesner.
A visitation will be held from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, also at the funeral home. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Evans Cemetery.
