William “Bill” Wallace Pike, 96, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

Bill was born on April 20, 1930, in Greeley to Roscoe William and Cora Mae (Swearingen) Pike. He was a lifelong resident of the Greeley/LaSalle area and dedicated much of his life to his family, his faith, his community, and his country.

After attending Greeley High School, Bill proudly served in the United States Navy from September 1948-1952. He provided security for the Naval Supply Depot on Guam from January 1949 to May 1951. From there he served on the USS Hickox from June 1951 to September 1952. Following his military service, he began a 25-year career with Greeley Coca-Cola before continuing his working career with Eastman Kodak.

On March 16, 1952, Bill married the love of his life, Dorothy Lee Kinney, at Greeley Presbyterian Church. Together, they shared 74 years of marriage, building a life centered around family, faith, and community. They enjoyed their time with family and friends at the family cabin in Glen Haven.

Bill was a devoted member of the Greeley Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he served as an Elder, Sabbath School teacher, and Pathfinder leader. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his church as well. He was a member of the Evans Seniors and the LaSalle Lions Club and served on the Weld County Board of Nutrition.

Bill will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his faith, his service to others, and the many lives he touched throughout his 96 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Lee Pike; sons, William “Bill” Roscoe Pike, Douglas (Denisse) Lee Pike, Gary Lynn Pike, and Wesley (Tricha) James Pike; daughters, Dalyne Kay Sandau and Wendy Suzanne Pike; as well as 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Cora Mae Pike; and his sisters, Dorothy Charlyne Pike, Eva (Dale) Rosalyne Bohlender, and Glendola (Gene) Mae Day.

A visitation will be held from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Greeley Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1002 21st Avenue, Greeley, Colorado. Immediately following the services for Bill, a reception will be held at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 Golden Street in Evans, Colorado. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Nunn, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greeley Seventh-day Adventist Church or the Evans Senior Center in care of Moser Funeral Service.
