Obituary

William Robert "Bob" Landolt, 75, of Eaton, died on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born on August 12, 1930 in Lander, Wyoming to William C. and Estelle Grace (Hodson) Landolt. Mr. Landolt married Patsy Austin and she preceded him in death. He later married Marlene Foster in 1981 in Ft. Collins. Bob graduated from Longmont High School in 1949. He later went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the grocery business retiring from Safeway in 1996. After his retirement from Safeway he worked for Garnsey and Wheeler Ford in Greeley. He lived in Greeley before moving to Eaton in 1991. Bob enjoyed playing golf and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Landolt of Eaton; 2 daughters, Rhonda Hill of Longmont and Sandra Witt and her Husband William of Tucson, Arizona; 2 step daughters, Roxanne Carsten and her husband Gary of Eaton and Sheri Carlson and her husband Ted of Eaton; 9 grandhcildren, 1 great grandhcild; a daughter in law, Kristi McChesney of Grand Junction, Colorado and his aunt and uncle, Bob and Dorothy Burch of Mead, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Landolt and a son Mark Landolt. A funeral service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9th at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Interment will be in the Eaton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Family will greet friends during visitation from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.. Memorial gifts may be made to the William Landolt memorial fund in care of Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620.
