William Blackwell "Bill" Weaver Jr., 79 of Evans passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
He was born on July 30, 1933 in Littleton, North Carolina to William Blackwell and Beulah Rebecca (Moore) Weaver.
Mr. Weaver married Wanda Pearl Cates on March 6, 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona. Graduated from high school in Apex, North Carolina and later attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Weaver; 3 daughters, Lydia Waibl, Johnna Graves and Rhonna Weaver; a brother, Macon Weaver Sr.; 6 grandchildren, Nathan & Dustin Waibl, Catrina Lynn, LaChele Hardic and Michael and Sidney Weaver and 8 great grandchildren, Jacob, Kileah and Daniell Lynn, Alex and Tommy Hardic, Nathan Waibl Jr. and Allison and Nathalia Waibl. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Beulah Weaver and a sister, Becky.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held Sunday, October 7 at 12:00 p.m. at the Greeley VFW Pioneer Post 2121, 2514 7th Avenue in Greeley.
