Wilma June Adams, aged 93 of Lucerne, passed away on April 9, 2023. She was born on June 15, 1929, in Denver, and grew up in the Denver metro area. After attending the University of Denver, she transferred to CSU, where she met Robert C. Adams. The two were married on August 1, 1950, and enjoyed a long and fulfilling life together until Robert's passing in 1992.

Wilma was passionate about serving others and was actively involved in many clubs and sororities. She attended Cornerstone Community Church in Greeley and cherished her time with her Beta Sigma Phi sisterhood. Throughout her life, she worked several clerical jobs in Greeley but found her true calling in the family farm and garden, where she spent many happy hours with her flowers.

After her children grew up, Wilma became a caretaker for her grandchildren and her neighbors' children in her home. Her family and friends were of utmost importance to her, and she always gave of herself to help them. Wilma devoted her time and energy to the family farm, which she diligently stewarded, and her efforts resulted in it being recognized as a Centennial Farm that will continue to bless generations to come.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Adams, and her son, Larry Adams. She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Adams of Denver, her daughter-in-law, Kayedeane Adams of Lucerne, grandchildren Kurt Adams (Melissa) of Eaton, Jill Burke (Kevin) of Centennial, Kristen Webb (Josh) of Platteville, and nine loving great-grandchildren.

Wilma's Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 17, at 2 pm at Moser Funeral & Cremation Services, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wilma Adams Memorial Fund. Donations will go to causes dear to Wilma, including LA's Football Foundation and Alliance Defending Freedom.
