Zachary Jarryd Carlson, 28, of Loveland, went to live forever with his Heavenly Father on April 28, 2014. Zach was born on August 20, 1985, in Greeley, Colorado, to Don and Ardeth Carlson. He grew up in Loveland, attended Mountain View High School, and graduated with an English degree from Seattle Pacific University in 2008 with magna cum laude honors. Zach was a gifted writer and avid reader. After working for Group Publishing in Loveland a couple years, Zach returned to Seattle to live and work, where he also enjoyed running, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, and board games with a group of close friends. Zach was a young man with a strong Christian faith and attended Mars Hill Church in Seattle. He had a special love and relationship with his Grandpa Carlson and Grandpa Wine and is now enjoying their company and stories once again. Zach is very much missed by his parents, sister Abbe, sister and brother-in-law Lacey and Andrew Sharpe, and brother Andy, and many other friends and relatives. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2014, at LifeSpring Covenant Church, 743 S. Dotsero Drive in Loveland.Memorial gifts may be made to the Zach Carlson Memorial Fund to be used for an orphange in Mexico.
