Frequently Asked Questions

Our crematory is located on site here in our funeral home.  We invite you to stop in and tour our facility to help you understand how our “Witness Crematory” is the finest cremation facility in Colorado. After we bring your loved one into our care for service, they never leave our facility until the remains are returned to you or placed in a cemetery.

-  Are you a family owned funeral home or owned by a larger company?

Moser Funeral Service is locally owned and operated by Scott & Robin Moser.  As corporations continue to purchase funeral homes throughout Northern Colorado, we feel even more confident that you will see a tremendous difference in the personal and caring service that we provide.

-  Do you provide services outside of Greeley/Evans?

Yes, in addition to Greeley and Evans, we service all of Northern Colorado including; Eaton, Ault, Pierce, Windsor, Platteville, LaSalle.  Because of the highly personalized service that we provide, families are even asking us to provide services throughout Colorado – and we are proud of the fact that we can go anywhere and give the same level of care as we do right here in Greeley.

-  Is there a chapel in your facility where I can have a memorial service?

Our spacious, modern chapel can seat up to 200 people.  It is the largest chapel in the Norther Colorado area, and we encourage you to stop in to tour our facility to see how we can serve you in ways that that will help you best remember your loved one.

-  Can I be present during the cremation for my own peace of mind?  Also, can I have other family and friends with me for support?

Yes, we have a dedicated viewing room that allows family and friends to be involved throughout the entire cremation process.  You even have the option of starting the cremation at the exact moment that you feel is appropriate.   Our “Witness Crematory” is unique in this way and we feel another reason that sets us apart from other cremation providers that must take your loved one to facilities that are off site and allow someone you’ve never met to perform the cremation.

-  Do you have urns and cremation merchandise available that I can purchase?  Am I able to come in and see the urns you have?

We have a full line of cremation urns, keepsake urns and even cremation necklaces that hold a portion of the cremated remains.  We have a wide variety of very reasonably priced cremation merchandise on hand for you to choose from.  We are open from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and you can also make an appointment to meet us at your convenience after hours or on weekends.

- We want to have a funeral service and visitation at our church and not at the funeral home.  Are we able to do this?

Yes, through the years we have worked with almost every church in Northern Colorado.  On your behalf, we will work with the church to be sure that the schedule of visitation and services can be accommodated.  We will be there to offer guidance at the church throughout the visitation and funeral just as if it were held in our chapel.

 -  Do you offer transfer services to get someone to another state or country for burial?

We specialize in taking care of the tremendous amount of paperwork and preparation that is required to transfer a person to another state or country.  We take great care in managing the details of the transfer so that you can focus on yourself and your family during this time.  We will work with your funeral home in another state or country directly so that you don’t have to.  Please call if you would like to discuss this in advance.

- How long have you been in business and what are your qualifications?

Moser Funeral & Cremation Service was founded by Scott and Robin Moser in the year 2000.  Scott Moser graduated from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1989 and has served in the profession for over 30 years.  Robin Moser graduated from Indiana University in 1988 and has served families since we began serving the Greeley/Weld County areas in 2000.  No other funeral home in Northern Colorado can offer the range of services and experience that we provide.
