Owner

Scott Moser, originally from Indiana, has made Eaton, Colorado, his home since 1991. A proud alumnus of Purdue University, Scott later graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, where he honed his skills in funeral service. In 2000, he founded and has since operated Moser Funeral Service, a testament to his dedication to the community. Originally practicing in the funeral profession in Indian, Scott is National Board Certified as and embalmer and funeral director. Due to the lack of licensing in the State of Colorado, Scott maintains his license in the State of Indiana to show his commitment to professional service to the public.

Since 1995, Scott has served on the Disaster Mortuary Operations Response Team (DMORT), a specialized group that responds to mass fatality incidents across the United States and its territories. This role highlights his commitment to service during times of crisis.

Scott's dedication to local governance is evident through his extensive involvement in the Eaton Town Board, where he served two four-year terms as a Trustee before being elected Mayor. He held the mayoral position from 2008 to 2016 and was re-elected in 2020, with his current term running until 2028. His leadership is characterized by a focus on sustainable growth and community engagement.

Married to Robin Moser, Scott is a devoted father to three children: Hannah, Cameron, and Logan. Family is at the heart of his life, and he has been an active member of the Evangelical Free Church for over 20 years. Scott's passion for spending time with his family and making a lasting impact on the Eaton community continues to inspire those around him.
